I have been quite interested in the political situation in the Unites States after Donald Trump - to my horror - was elected the president. Today I took advantage of a long bus ride and watched his vicotry speech and the first speech he gave as a president. I am not at my comfort zone listening to someone talk in English, so I was pleasantly surprised that he articulated so well and spoke in an understandable manner. Before when I have heard him speak, I have concentrated on what he is speaking of rather than how is he saying it, so I hadn't really noticed that before. Well, if you think about it, it is quite logical - after all, he has done international business and is now the president, so it is quite important for him that also those less fluent in English understand him.
